After spending several days & weekends doing DIY stuff around the house/garden, Mrs Y & I (plus Noddle) finally got out to do some birding.

We headed to Tynemouth Pier following reports of a Wryneck, but after nearly two hours of staring at some bushes & no sign we decided to head further up the coast.

Today's Sightings Included:

Cresswell:- Greenshank, Sandwich Tern, Spotted Redshank & Redshank.

East Chevington:- Greenshank, Lapwing, Grey Heron, Golden Plover, Knot, Ruff, Common Tern, Great Crested Grebe, Great Black Backed Gull, Curlew & Dunlin.
